I saw two cars today that I’ve never seen before.

First, I saw a Bugatti Veyron. I’ve never seen one in the flesh before. I know there have been Veyrons out at the track before, but I didn’t see them in person. Today I finally did see it in person. It was surrounded by (other :) ) Lambos.

On the way home, I saw a Qvale Mangusta. I had no idea what it was when I saw it, but I managed to catch the badging so I could look it up when I got home. I was driving, so I didn’t get a picture. Here’s one from Wikipedia:

It looks like some kind of really mini SL from the side, and then like a European interpretation of an MR2 Spyder in the front. Nice find.

That’s really interesting ...I wonder how that venture came to be...also, I never liked the look of the MG XPower SV, its myriad of scoops and vents look childish on such a staid looking coupe...

Well in it’s dying days MG Rover went a bit batshit, they did this, They butchered the 75/ZT’s FWD platform to accept a Ford Modular V8 and RWD, along with chucking all the options as base spec cars.

I'm about 99% sure I saw a white Veyron under an overpass on Long Island. It was also surrounded by a convoy of Escalades.
